Best Husband Ever

We had a pretty good weekend. On Saturday we went to an egg hunt at Sam's karate studio and then Alex took Jack and Sam to see Horton Hears a Who. While they were gone, Quinn played in the basement playroom while I cleaned it.

On Sunday Jack, Sam, and I went to see "The Jungle Book" at the Glen Echo Puppet Theatre.

Here's a photo of Sam meeting one of the monkey puppets. That's Jack in the orange in the background meeting the snake puppet. Shortly after this photo was taken, he gave that snake a giant hug.

Here's where the best husband ever part comes in:

While I was gone, and after I returned, Alex cleaned the entire house. He picked up all the toys and assorted crap scattered around. He vacuumed. He did the dishes. He did all of the laundry and he folded it.

So tomorrow all I have to do is mop the kitchen floor.

He's a total rock star. Thanks, Alex!

AWESOME hubby!!! That's better than foreplay! ;)

In my house it IS foreplay. Nothing turns me on more than my hubby doing something productive. ;) Unfortunately I am of one of those rare female-types who is ready to get busy at the drop of a hat, so my hubby doesn't feel too motivated to clean very often. dang.

ROFL at Ange's comment!
Um, my address is....and I'll leave the light on. Alex can come on over and clean my house any time!

I wish my house COULD be cleaned in a single day. That would be groovy. Cool husband, though. We need to create a cool husband award. :)

Yes, I'd like to sign my husband up for Alex's workshop. When is it again?

I will agree - Alex totally rocks! Men don't always get it but that's one of the BEST gifts he can give a woman!! Woot!

So, I told my husband about Alex's great act of love and kindness and he replied, "So, what is Alex trying to hide?"
I don't think my husband understands the power he would have if he helped around the house...

*swoon*

MPS put washing in the machine the other day. And washing powder. AND turned it on! I nearly keeled over with shock.

A couple of hours I asked him about the washing he put in the machine. He said, and I quote, 'Yeah, you should do something about that'

grrrrrr

Give Alex a big smootch from me and tell him that he is a REAL man!
