So, in lieu of posting a lot of angst about therapies and Child Find and kindergarten readiness and all the drama therein—which is what is running through my head right now—I'm gonna give you...RED.
Well, this first one here is my leather kangaroo pencil holder. Yeah, that's right. He wears some of my favorite swag from my previous trips to BlogHer conferences.
I drink a lot of Diet Coke. So, naturally I photographed the can nearest me. It was on the floor next to my feet because I don't keep drinks on my desk anymore. Incidentally, I've spilled a lot more beverages since I keep them on the floor. None of them, however, have spilled into my computer.
This red "N" is the last letter in the "Jackson" on my kids' room door. There's a "Sammy" and a "Quinn" as well. Yep, I've taped many tiny clowns to the door of the room where my kids sleep. ("Can't sleep...clown will eat me...can't sleep...clown will eat me...")
Let's see. This next red is interwoven through a beautiful potholder that one of my six-year-old friends made for me. Isn't it pretty?
Here is a Zoob.
I am vehemently anti-trackpad, mostly because I'm not very good at using them. So I have this trackball attached to my laptop at all times. I luuuuuurve it. And it's red!
Here's my last red thing. It encases one of my favorite things in the whole world.
I tag no one. But you're welcome to play along if you'd like. Also, if you like to see different people's takes on photography themes, check out my friend Nancy and her three friends' blog that does that very thing.
So... what's up with the Child Find and kindergarden readiness and stuff?
ReplyDeleteLove the kangaroo.
Love the kangaroo!
ReplyDeleteAlso, waiting on the kindergarten readiness post. I am right there too.
Word verification: swinest, which is one letter away from swinefest (ok, 2).
Kindergarten smindergarten! Love your red items and I definitely need to know where that red kangaroo come from!
ReplyDeleteI love the last one! The kangaroo is super-cool, too, though.
ReplyDeleteDude looks AWESOME in red!
ReplyDeleteLove the photos (and the opportunity to see red, because in a few hours all we're going to be seeing around DC is WHITE)!
ReplyDeleteZoob! Love Zoob. My boss did a ballet using Zoob. (I have a small handful of them - can I mail them to you? There aren't enough for us to really do anything with.)
ReplyDeleteI'm honored that you played for me...and your red stuff is way cool. Especially that last one!
ReplyDeleteHope you're stocked up pre-storm!
The last one is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteAnd the clown allusion made me laugh! Although clowns always make me think of Poltergeist.
The kangaroo is awesome, but I have to say - I'm a trackball addict!
