Some of you might remember my friend Heather. She’s the one who introduced me to Disney World a little more than a year ago. She is also the person who did this to Algernon:
Keeping this in mind, it shouldn’t surprise you to see that she brought home presents for my gerbils after her most recent trip to the happiest place on earth.
Are you ready?
Shit, you’re not ready. You THINK you’re ready, but you’re not ready.
Okay, here you go—Mouse wearing his present.
You weren’t ready, were you? God, I love my friends.

I wasn’t ready! Blinded… by… the awesome…
I KNOW! I can’t stop looking at that photo. It is killing me. SO hilarious.
Stop! The awesomeness is killing me!
Deadly awesomeness. The worst kind!
OMG…..I absolutely LOVE this!!!!! You have some awesome friends alright!
Right? Who would think to bring such delightful hats for my gerbil buddies? (Answer: my deranged friends)
Where do you find those cute little hats? I have a God Daughter who would love one for her dolly.
Hotel shampoo bottles, evidently. I might be persuaded to part with one, you know, for a child. :)
Sooo much awesome in one tiny post. Love! You need to put Mouse on the back of the ears. Of course, that would possibly lead to an awesomeurysm.
This comment adds SO much awesomeness to this post that I think I am having that awesomeurysm.
Awesome! It is even better than I imagined it would be! Thank you.
Also: Happiest Place on Earth = Disneyland. Most Magical Place on Earth = Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. I know you strive for accuracy at Stimeyland so I just thought I would let you know. However, this tiny Disney gaffe does not take away any of the awesomeness of this post.
I like Heather.
DAMMIT! I can’t believe I did that. It must be almost as terrible as watching me spell “Disney World” as “Disneyworld” in several posts in a row.
Nonetheless, you are right. SO much better than could have ever been imagined.
Christ, I can’t stop looking at this picture…this is the third time I’ve come to this blog post just to stare adoringly…perhaps I’m in the midst of an awesomeurysm (funtastic word, Heather)…absolutely adorable…now if you’ll excuse me as I go back to blatantly staring…LOL
I know! I have the picture open on my computer desktop because I CAN’T STOP LOOKING AT IT.
Now that is funny. And awesome. Way to go, Heather.
There may have been jumping up and down when she handed me the little hats.
You were right: I thought I was ready. But I was not ready.
I tried to warn you.
So. Awesome.
I was not ready…. But seriously awesome!!
Words cannot express the awesomeness.
Perfection.
VERY cute.
Bet he’s thinking, ‘hmm, if I humor her, maybe she’ll give me sunflower seeds or some cardboard.” :)
Never you fear. He got both. :)
There is no way to be ready for that amount of awesome. That is spectacular.
So cute! I love this picture! He (she?) is very photogenic!
I saw the picture of Mouse on pinterest and I just about died. Thank you for making my day.
I still have that photo open on my computer desktop. It makes me extremely happy.
I LOVE HIM!!!!
Simply amazing.
